MS&L Spins – to Help Find a Cure for Diabetes

-Two MS&L teams take part in cycle sprints for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation-
London, September 7th – Ten members of MS&L London pushed their bodies to the limit on Friday, taking part in the Spin to Cure Diabetes event at London’s Royal Exchange to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The two teams: ‘Spin Doctors’ and ‘Sultans of Spin’, have raised a total of £2,000. The winning MS&L team were the ‘Spin Doctors’ - but only by a short distance. The fastest rider was David Carter, who covered an impressive 4.8 kilometers in eight minutes.
Clare Lucker, Director, Head of Healthcare, was delighted with the results. Clare said: “We’ve been working in the Diabetes area for many years at MS&L for clients such as Bayer and Eli Lilly. Being so involved in this disease area, it’s great to be part of an activity to help fund the research, as well as working on significant awareness-raising programmes.”
